#FitzFriday Since last March the most common tactic I have utilized to help athletes and students reduce anxiety is visualization through meditation. Every session starts and ends with tempo breathing where clients breathe in for 6 seconds, hold for 1 second and then exhale for 7 seconds. This has been an influential tool in reducing stress and resetting or jump starting the central nervous system. Visualize a stressful situation that you have overcome and think about how you... did it. How did it make you feel? Can you do it again? Positive responses to stress are what separate high performers from the rest. And remember, It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish . #WeAreE3Sports #EducateExerciseEvolve

#FitzFriday In 2008 my role as a performance coach expanded as E3SPORTS introduced early childhood development programming at public schools. Our unique program design blends physical, cognitive and motor skill based games for children. Personally, I don’t think there has ever been a more important time for children to be active than right now. With schools opening and recess yards staying vacant kids are being denied the ability to creatively play together. As we move into t...he fall and winter months I am committing myself as a father and coach to provide safe options for schools and families to keep kids moving which will not only help them academically but socially and emotionally as well.
