Amazing FREE Opportunity for All Students Ages 9-14 The Little Writers Big Change Workshop Series Students will participate in a live enriching and groundbreaking online workshop series presented for free by Wheat Penny Press. ... Hosted by founder Rebekah Borucki, the first series features leaders in the children’s publishing, entertainment and educational spaces. The series will feature a new guest mentor each week. The roster includes two #1 New York Times Best Sellers, a Broadway performer, a school librarian with a huge social media following and other brilliant teachers. Children will be able to show up to the live streaming workshop each week to interact with these mentors and receive instruction on the writing process, how to engage an audience with the written word and why their story matters. By participating in this opportunity, every participant will be able to submit their story to Wheat Penny Press’s annual Little Writers Big Change Anthology. Twenty stories will be selected for the hardcover anthology that will be published and sold by Wheat Penny Press, with benefits going toward future Little Readers Big Change Initiative programs. Our hope is that this experience inspires young writers to share their stories more openly, honestly and with confidence. To register your child and get more information: https://www.bexlife.com/little-writers-big-change-writing-/ You must act FAST! Workshop starts October 20, 2020.
