I just wanted us to lift prayers of comfort and peace for all those in communities whose violence and anger of the few, spills out to cause harm, pain, and even death, to others. I am heartbroken that people can take weapons into businesses and unleash their rage with bullets, killing strangers and forever changing those who loved them. Our collective sorrow can be met with peace -but we have to mean it and act on it. People of faith - what are you willing to do to get in the way of such rage that uses guns to kill? Lord, in your mercyhear our prayer.

Welcome to meet the Easter Bunny and tell him all about Jesus! We have Christian goody bags in the parking lot this morning - come now! Its Holy Saturday, praise be to God! Rotarians are selling chicken BBQ and giving out Easter baskets too - come and be together in community!! God bless!

Maundy Thursday has passed, Lord. You shared the bread and wine, you washed our feet; we are confused and humbled. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer of love and compassion for you and all of life. We did not know that it would mean you would go to the cross, and we are in deep sorrow.
