Many people are struggling to understand what they are feeling during this weird time in our history. The best way I can describe it is to say that we are experiencing an 'emotion cocktail.' That is to say that we are feeling a multitude of things all at once - and that can leave us feeling numb, demotivated, demoralized, and directionless. The mix of hopelessness, helplessness, panic, fear, despair, loss of control, surrealism, and anything else you may be experiencing is ever present. It seems that daily we experience something else that jars us. We WILL get through this. One of my favorite quotes is from Rumi, "We are all just walking each other home."
