We are glad to announce that we will be holding an "In-Person" worship service this Sunday, July 12, at 10am. All are welcome! We will also be "zooming" the service live (see the invitation below). So, please use your best judgment concerning your health and your preferences, and either join us in-person, or join us via zoom. Also, please know that we are going to great lengths to make sure the worship service is safe for all who attend. With that in mind, we will be asking... all those attending the worship service in the sanctuary to abide by the following guidelines: Worshipers and worship leaders will need to wear masks at all times. Hand sanitizer will be available as you enter. We will practice social distancing by sitting in every other pew, and by sitting at least 6 feet away from other worshipers (with the exception of family members, of course). There will be no singing. We ask worshipers to reflect silently and prayerfully upon the music and songs as they play. All of this is done out of love for our neighbor and concern for the most vulnerable in our community. We appreciate your cooperation. For those who prefer to join the worship service via zoom, the invitation is below. We will try to keep the zoom worship experience consistent with what we have been doing for the past few months. In fact, we plan on starting the "meeting" at 9:30 so that we can have some fellowship time prior to the service. Yesterday, we experienced an amazingly emotional and powerful testimony from Covenant pastoral leaders around North America. We welcome you to take in this amazing experience in confession and healing. Welcome to "Solidarity is Calling" - This will be a sacred time for us to lament, repent, and respond to the call of solidarity.

Our denomination of the Evangelical Covenant Church has made a powerful statement on the passing of George Floyd. We hope you will read and share this message so that all of those affected by the racism can feel our love and support for all that they are going through. "We call on all Covenanters to grieve with those who are grieving. We grieve not only the death of George Floyd but a system that affords some the luxury of being treated with dignity when the law is broken,... while others go to the morgue. In the middle of this brokenness, and our lament, we continue to stand firm in our faith, knowing that amid what feels like despair, we are not without hope because Jesus is Immanuel! Our Lord and Savior has inaugurated the kingdomdisarming the powers and authoritiesand while the kingdom has not fully manifested, we persevere in faith, knowing that it will!" See more
