April 1 is the 19th anniversary of Tim Cooley saying YES to Easton Mountain. He first came to Easton for a Body Electric Sacred Intimacy weekend, and was instantly awestruck by the land. To his great surprise, at the end of the weekend, John Stasio asked him to spend the summer at Easton teaching Yoga and doing massage. He was at a point in life when he was ready for a big change, but had no idea how big a change was in store for him. At that point though, Easton was still m...ore of a dream than a reality, with just a few people in residence. After much contemplation, he concluded that Easton would be a place where he could deepen his experience as a yoga teacher. April 1 is known as April Fools Day, and the Fool from the Tarot deck is an archetype that Tim identifies strongly with. It represents stepping into the unknown, trusting that all will be well.
