We are pleased to announce that we have taken delivery of our new MSA Fire G1 airpacks! This purchase was made possible through the funding of the FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant. By applying for, and being awarded the grant, we were able to save Village tax payers nearly $275,000. These packs will be in service for more than 10 years and are an essential tool to be able to complete our duties as Firefighters. A huge thank you to Churchville Fire Equipment for their assistance through the purchasing process. We look forward to working with you on training so that these new tools can be placed in service!

AS YOU PREPARE FOR BED TONIGHT NEVER FORGET: On this day... 19 years ago: 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights.... 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift of saving lives. None of them took a breath past 10:00 a.m. on September 11, 2001. It doesn't matter if you weren't there, too little to remember or not even born yet, this day, this piece of history, changed the world forever. It changed YOUR world forever. I WILL NEVER FORGET

We are happy to say we sold out of dinners tonight! Thank you to the community for your continued support. While this has turned out to be a year unlike any other, your support has helped us work through it. We hope to be back to our normal series of events by next summer, but will certainly keep the community up to date! Thank you , thank you, thank you!

It is with a heavy heart that we have to cancel the East Rochester Fireman’s Carnival due to the current situation and future outlook with COVID-19. The 2020 ERFD Carnival was originally set to take place July 23rd thru the July 25th. We will miss seeing our neighbors during the greatest three days, but please rest assured we will be back stronger than ever in 2021! While our firehouse and grounds remain closed to the public during this difficult time, our volunteers contin...ue to train and respond to all emergency calls.
