It is a sad day for the ESM community as we hear of the passing of Aaron Wood owner of T2. Aaron and his wife were always giving back to the community. They provided pizza parties for all sports teams. From T-ball to high-school sports. They created a safe and FUN place for the community to get together! Aaron you will be deeply missed by all! To the entire Wood family you will be in our thoughts and prayers!!

Hello ESM Little League Families and Friends, This is a friendly reminder that Fall ball registration is currently open until July 4, 2020. One correction to the registration fee. Juniors baseball is $80, everything else is $50. My apologies for confusion. As CNY prepares to enter Phase 4 of Governor Cuomo’s plan to reopen NY, ESMLL is eagerly working to start the 2020 baseball/softball season. We are meeting on a regular basis to plan an early/extended fall... ball 2020 season. Needless to say, this will not be a normal fall ball season. Per New York State and Little League International guidelines, the season will be held under stringent rules designed to minimize the risk to our players and families. Currently we plan to have a season that runs from 7/6/20 to 8/22/20. This may vary depending on how many teams we have per division and the schedule of our neighboring little leagues; playoffs would be held the following week. Depending on our registration numbers, we may have to travel to our neighboring little leagues for games, but distance traveled will be minimal. In order to let our ESM families enjoy their summer weekend plans, we have decided that all fall ball games will be held Monday thru Friday (weekdays), with no double-headers. There will be no scheduled weekend games. Currently, ESMLL is offering the following divisions: Baseball Softball Juniors (14 years and under) Majors (12 years and under) 12u (12 years and under) Player pitch minors (10 years and under) 10u (10 years and under) Registration is now open for the divisions above and will close on 7/4/20. Practices will start the week of 7/6/20. The cost is $50. If this causes any kind of financial hardship for you, please let us know and we will work something out. If you were already registered for the spring ’20 season and have a credit or refund coming to you, the registration fee will be subtracted from your credit/refund. Our goal is to give the kids that want to play the opportunity to play. Attached you will find ESMLL’s plan to keep our players and community safe. Please review and let us know if you have any questions. Please note that if you register for the fall ball season, you are also agreeing to conform and help comply to the safety plan. As it is impossible to eliminate the risk entirely, we will be sending the ESMLL Liability waiver that will be required for registration. Hello ESMLL Families and Friends, It is with great regret that due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, ESMLL has decided to cancel the 2020 spring/summer season. Maintaining the safety of our players was the driving force in making this decision. Safety has always been our highest priority. We will continue to monitor the situation in hopes of being able to get a fall ball season in. We will keep you posted regarding fall ball and any other activities that we may be... able to have. As part of the cancellation, we will be giving a refund or credit toward next season. Please respond to this email and let us know which you prefer refund or credit. Also, please let us know if you are interested in donating your registration fee to the league, it'd be greatly appreciated. We hope to have all the refund checks mailed before 7/1/20. Checking in on our Little League Family...How is everyone handling the quarantine?? We know everyone is anxious and want to get the season started! With that said let's make sure we are all doing are part with social distancing!! It is ok to go out and throw the ball around but avoid any small group activities. By doing this it will help stop the spread and get us on track with starting the season!! Stay healthy everyone!!

***SEASON UPDATE- Little International has suspended/postponed the season until no earlier then 5/11. That includes meetings,practices,games, clinics and new umpire class. We are deeply heartbroken with this news but will work towards ensuring we continue with the season when it is safe to do so. Our number 1 priority is the safety of our players, coaches and families. Continue to check emails, FB and website for up to date information. Stay healthy everyone!!***
