Felt so inspired watching @giadadelaurentiis in Italy, I made her branzino with tomatoes and capers. OMG YUM. This recipe is perfection and you should google it and make it ASAP. Had some cute little carrots that were begging to be simmered in butter and honey a la @chezpanisse (google that recipe too) and finally, 7 year old aged Aquerello riso (you can find it @gracesmarketplace ) with olive oil and pecorino. @cakebreadcellars Reserve Chardonnay Mamma Mia!!!!!!! . . . .... . #homecooking #kissthecook #womeninfood #womeninfoodservice #branzino #chardonnay #longisland #ny #longislandfoodie #lieats @ Long Island, NY See more

There's just something so comforting about a bowl of bucatini and meatballs. Such a simple dish that holds so much magic within it. This is why I love food. It has the power to create memories, transform and solidify them in your mind with just a whiff of nostalgia. What foods remind you of your favorite memories? Is it the smell of certain spices? Baking cakes or cookies? Butter sizzling in the pan? Garlic and olive oil? I would love to know! . . Pretty sure it’s the caffeine from my pumpkin spiced oat milk latte which is causing a burst of inspiration- I think I should write a cookbook! Full of my simple and delicious, mostly locally found products. Although my professional cooking experience was based in fine dining restaurants, I would like to take my experience and teach people how to nourish themselves using a mindful approach, simple steps, and learn how to be comfortable being creative and adding your own flair.... Simplifying the process so you’ll have meals you can create from muscle memory! Just like a Chef Anyone have any advice on how to self publish? Where do I begin? . . . .
