Repost from @bodegafatboys Thank you Eat Gai is a Thai chicken eatery, located in the new Essex Market location. stall #46 You can order a variety dishes anchored by Thai-styled chicken. dishes range between $5-$12 prices aren't bad and food is pretty good. Ended up getting the... Pineapple Chicken - fried chicken, served with sticky rice. & Hat Yai Fried Chicken - fried chicken, served with fried shallots and sticky rice. Food was pretty good but I totally recommend coming here when they open at 11am. The later you come the food just taste dry, cause it seems like they leave the food under a heating lamp throughout the day. So come here and get the food fresh as possible. Also be sure to order the Thai ice tea!!! (Not pictured) but it is amazing!! . . . . #thaifood #thailand #food #foodie #foodporn #foodstagram #thai #instafood #yummy #foodphotography #nyc #bodegfatboys #thaifoodstagram #asianfood #thaicuisine #foodlover #delicious #thaifoodlover #thairestaurant #foodblogger #homecooking #homemade #streetfood #cooking #noodles #foodgasm #restaurant #bhfyp

Join us donate clothing, toys and food to our community! We need your support! Repost from @aafenyc Our first free pop-up community market in Chinatown this past Saturday was a big success. More than 300 community members were able to pick up food, clothing, home goods and toys for the holidays. Thank you to our partners @thehouseofgooddeeds Gai Eats and Chinatown Neighborhood Watch, as well as all of our volunteers. We’re already looking forward to our next event Janua...ry 3 from 10am-3pm at 108 Norfolk St., coinciding with Three Kings Day. In addition to holiday-themed items, we’ll be distributing masks, prepared frozen meals and there will be selected children’s clothing items available. If you would like to volunteer or donate to the cause please see the links in our profile. #communityaid #lowereastsidenyc #chinatownnyc #covidrelief #helpcommunity

Too much pain and violence. All the Asian Americans, it’s time to speak up, take action and stand in solidarity against anti Asian hate. Repost from @fungbros Photo from @nycfoodblog @imagesbysam Everyday it seems like there’s a story about some senseless unprovoked attack on Asians and even more that you don’t hear about. Join us in uniting, showing support and having solutions based conversations about this. We’ll have guest speakers of different orgs and backgrounds and a live DJ. Let’s make this a thing. Repost from @rethinkfood May 2020 Rethink has been helping our Asian community during pandemic. No words to express our gratitude and we will take action to support our community entire life. Last week we partnered with @zenyainyc & @eat_gai to increase the number of meals available through Rethink’s Chinatown/LES Initiative. Thank you to these amazing restaurants for helping us feed New Yorkers in need. To support this initiative and others throughout New York City, click the donation button on @rethinkfood profile!
