Spinning like dreidels and playing with friends - another great week for the Unicorns.
The Kitty Cats get ready for Chanukah, dance with the dreidel,read their Chanukah story book, and enjoy playing with their besties.

The Teddy Bears welcomed fall with orange week and orange activities

The Unicorns fill Noah’s Ark with animals and have fun with their friends.
Busy week attheECC- We visited a kibbutz, celebrated Succot and Simchat Torah and visited the succah with Rabbi Marsh.
The Teddy Bears put animals in Noah’s Ark and have a fun week learning and playing.
STEAM- so much to learn from pine cones...examining them, sorting them, making predictions and then seeing if they do float!
In Around the World enrichment class today we pretended we were on a kibbutz. One activity was finding the animals that escaped from the barn and clean them off. More pic to follow. WE HOPE WHEN WE DO THIS ACTIVITY NEXT YEAR OUR FAMILIES WILL BE ABLE TO JOIN US.
It’s Succah time for the Kitty Cats and Unicorns! The Teddy Bears will be visiting later this week.

Another wonderful Shabbat with Rabbi Marsh. He showed us the flags of the twelve tribes of Israel and we each made our own family flag. Shabbat Shalom

Baking meringue cookies in STEM was fun and delicious.
Pre K read and answered the question of the day, recited their alphabet chart, played a game and watched a video about shapes and even had time to practice some yoga poses.

Fun week at the ECC! Toddlers show their Mother’s Day mosaic cards, threes drew pictures of their moms, Prek loves yoga! Humpty Dumpty was the STEM project and pirates were the theme of library. What fun pretending to be pirates and search for specific ‘treasures’ in our homes.

Prek made octagon crabs and practiced yoga!
Five is the number of the week for the toddlers. They sang along to the video Five Little Ducks, jumped with Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed and colored and pasted five ducks on their pond.
In STEM we danced to a video about Roy G Biv and the colors of the rainbow. We did a cool experiment and made a picture of Roy G Biv.
Aftercare class danced to a video about rain, did a rain experiment and reviewed R is for rain.
The three year old class celebrates Israel’s birthday and reviews shapes.
The preK makes their hexaxagon people.
The toddlers make a project about the four seasons to tie in with the number of the week-4.
The turtles hear a fun story that made sounds and saw a video, both about a garden. Each child brought a vegetable and told about it.
The Shark Class has a lesson about parts of a flower in celebration of Earth Day. They also brought something to show that makes them happy. They listened to the story Owen and ended the class categorizing stuffed animals by size.
Prek reviews shapes, cuts shapes out, finds items at home representing shapes and uses their cut out shapes to create pictures.
The toddlers have their morning meeting.Mila and Hannah help with the calendar and weather. The focus today was #3. They heard the story of The Three Bears, made a cloud with 3 lightening bolts and each found 3 toys.
