DEC deer comment period is open until Dec,28 email [email protected] new regulations effect our deer populations. Extended seasons are meant to reduce buck age structure and deer population further. Rumors of crossbow all through bow season and you can voice your opinion.

Just a few reminders; 1) The December General and Board Meetings are canceled due to Covid concerns. We wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and hope to see you in 2021. 2) December 13th is the last day of big game regular season and late bow season starts the 14th and runs through the 22nd.... We hope you had a successful harvest this year and good luck if you are going out in late season. I have not seen any confirmation from the DEC regarding any extension to the season that was being discussed. 3) if you didn’t get a Deer, better luck next year. If you did fill tags, Report your harvest. A judge can fine you $250 for not reporting. It’s easy on-line or call it in. Due to lack of participation and the Covid issue, we can no longer continue to staff the Tuesday night traps. We will be closed for this year a month earlier than planned. Thank you to everyone who showed up to run these as well as those who did come out.

Members; I am sorry to have to say this again but the June meeting has been canceled. In addition, the Family Picnic is also canceled.... I spoke with Matin Parry of the Springville Strutters and he said the Woman in the Outdoors has been canceled. On a positive note the range will be open that day now. Please read your news letter and stay updated on this Facebook page for future notices. As soon as it is deemed safe we will start work parties again. ECCS is once again proud to help the DEC with replenishing the trout in the Cazenovia Creek. If you are a member of ECCS and would like to assist in this project, you can do so by joining us at the Mobile gas station (7 Eleven) at the corner of Emery Road and NY... Rte 16 at 9am on March 30th. This does count towards your work time at the ECCS but you need to let Ron Christiano Know you are a member and sign a work party sheet. See more

ECCS will be hosting the Pioneer Trap Club again this year. If you are or know a student interested in being on the team, contact Jerry Heaton @ 585-457-3883 or attend the meeting on February 4th at 7pm in Grouse Hall at ECCS. Team members will be selected at that time. Traps will begin at the end of March on Tuesday evenings at 5pm.

Archery League will be at our club on February 2nd and March 8th 2020. Walk-ons are welcome. Any questions, contact Dan Fisher or comment to this notice.
