Save Your Neck

So after many months of planning, experimentation, and nonsense...my creature lives!! A huge thank you to Ed Nayman/Save Your Neck for his luthier/wiring wizard...ry and taking my crazy ideas then brilliantly making it happen. I took a crappy old candy-apple red strat and gave it a Classic Gibson Les Paul neck pickup, 2 Surfy American Stratocaster middle/bridge pickups and of course a Brenner piezo Saddle for a killer Acoustic guitar sound. Stripped the paint, sanded the residuals, gave the wood some stain, and this enchanting relic breathes new life. If you want to hear it, she makes her debut at GONZO'S around 10pm tonight. A short drive from and conveniently after NCCC Theatre presents A Midsummer Night's Dream... which you should all go see anyway. See more
