Edmeston Emergency Squad

Yesterday all the equipment was transferred to the new 0491, and it was officially put into service. The old truck has served Edmeston for around 10 years. Shout out to Prolifiq Sign Studio for making both of these trucks look good while doing their job.

I want to share some resources that are available to everyone related to COVID-19. Please avoid rumors that you see on social media, some can be misleading. Useful information about COVID-19 can be found at the CDC's website and the NY Department of Health's website (links below). Otsego County health department has an app in the Android and Apple app stores. They are sending county-specific updates via that app, and it's free to download. And there is a Bassett hotline to ca...ll if you think you have been exposed, or you think you may have symptoms. Please use these resources. From an EMS standpoint, they are stressing the same as everyone else, our biggest risk of catching this is from touching something with the virus on it, and then touching our face. So wash your hands often and DON'T TOUCH YOUR FACE! (I know easier said than done, just saying that makes my nose itch).
