To find the areas that need to be adjusted I have to first perform a motion palpation. This is a simple technique involving moving or motioning the joint in question to determin which joint is not moving normally. This is a picture of me motion palpating Luigi's neck. Many of the horses often rest their head on my shoulder while I do this as it seems to relax them. I think they feel it is like a neck massage to them.

This is a picture of me doing tail traction on Luigi. It is a great way to stretch out the muscles of the lumbar portion of the back. In addition it helps to decompresses the disk spaces. The horses seem to like this a lot. I love my job! : )

At times furring an appointment I need to enlist the help of the owner or another person passing by to make an adjustment. This is a pic of me instructing one if the barn workers on where he needs to place his hands to assist me in making an adjustment of a thoracic vertebrae.

This is a picture of me and Luigi. I am adjusting his first vertebrae. Luigi was such a good boy for his session with me.

This is "Nica's" barn mate "Maggie". In these photos they almost look as though they are the same size but "Maggie", in spite of being the same breed, Is significantly smaller. Fortunately she is equally as sweet. "Maggie" had a medial humerus which I adjusted. I haven't seen that a lot so it was fun for me to find it and adjust. I love these two mares!

This is "Nica". She is one of the nicest Arab, Fresian, Warm Blood cross mares I have ever met. What an angel to work on!
