Yesterday was a very successful day!!! We were honored to be apart of this very important event. Shoutout to our partners at Clarendon Rd Church, Bethesda Healing Center, E 42nd Street Block Association, E 51st Street Block Association, Haitian Nurses Network and Hawthorne Street Block Association who all received food boxes for their communities/neighbors. Tuesday as we denounced gun violence, engaged the community with resources, provided job opportunities, distributed PPE, we were able to feed 75 families at Foster and New York Avenues. Last summer at this very same corner our youth interview the community members and asked what are some of the causes of violence and one was food insecurities. We do what we can in our community to provide access, resources and information. On Tuesday we were able to feed 75 families at Foster and New York Avenues. We are suffering with food insecurities in our community so do what we can to provide access. Thank you to Purpose Life Church family and Pastor Heston Williams for the food donation!

On Saturday we participated in an Anti Violence March to honor Cesc-Dino Maxwell and his mother Patricia Brathwaite who were shot with a 40 caliber gun leaving a cab to cross the street while the Jouvert celebration was going on.
