We're just finishing up the middle section ('Sugar Hill Penthouse') of the 'Beige' movement of 'Black, Brown, and Beige.' It may interest you to know that it was originally titled 'Symphonette.' Here are the first pages of Otto Hardwick and Harry Carney's parts. Carney played clarinet throughout this section. Some real Ellington magic in this piece!
