I’ve had them right under my nose for an entire year since the world shut down. Home learning in our little one room school house every day. Long days. Crazy wanna pull my hair out days. Great days. Full of laughter. Tears. Questions. Arguments. Learning. Exploring. Completely Together. The four of us every single day all day while daddy worked an essential strenuous job. Today the boys went back for the very first time to in person learning and I was home with my girl for w...hat will be the last time until she starts next year. And they did so well. I’m so proud of what they have accomplished under such crazy situations. Motherhood is one quick wild crazy amazing ride. And sometimes your gifted with extra time like this and even though it’s pure insanity most days it’s extra time none the less. I’ve always been a stay at home mom but this was different. This was time I wouldn’t have originally gotten. Extra unexpected time with my babies. But today they were ready. So Yesterday we took some pictures together which was actually pure mayhem but we did it anyways. I needed them. And I hope some day they cherish them too. See more

I am so grateful for my clients because they just get me. They let me into their home, help me carry In the rocking chair I sporadically brought with me, completely open minded to the idea of me rearranging their entire living room & then they just let me do what I do. Well I have a new found respect for videoographers! ha. These clips were taken over the summer when i started playing around with video. I finally sat down and really put the video together! Im not striving for perfection but more of a storyteller approach to the beautiful chaos and the perfectly unposed moments. now that i am in my off season I have been learning so much in so many areas to have more to offer you all this upcoming summer/fall! just look at this gorgeous momma to be. We had so much fun during her session I felt like I had known her for years yet we just met that day. She mentioned how easy I was making this session for her & that's how I want it to be! I know its nerve racking stepping in front of my camera trust me but I'll walk you through it all. My clients are more than just clients. We have fun together, I direct you instead of pose, I make dirty jokes or speak in a British accent & I fix your hair when need be. This momma wears pregnancy so well. I have gotten to photograph both her pregnancies & its such an honor. This time she came with alot of sentimental ideas to honor her grandpa & cousin who passed away. She was my neighbor growing up & I remember playing in random creeks with her & swimming in her pool after school or running around in our barn. Her dad was also one of my 4-H leaders growing up & if you know 4-H people you know them for life honestly. I haven’t seen her in years but Now she's all grown up with the sweetest little baby!! Truly could not decide which to share from this gallery! I’m also a little attached to this family since I have been photographing them for years! During their session their oldest wasn't too keen on the idea of photos. Momma got frustrated & pulled him away to have a chat So I of course photographed that (& the walk back) because it was genuine connection. she mentioned to me how Its crazy she doesn't see it that way but to see it through someone else's eyes shines a little light on the madness in her mind.
