The path from point A to point B is rarely a straight line. Especially when it comes to our health. And that’s ok! It’s easy to get frustrated and impatient because we want result immediately. But I promise you, little positive choices accumulate over time. Build healthy habits, and approach the path with patience and curiosity. Do this, and in a year you won’t believe how far you’ve come! Happy Weekend!

Hello! My page following is growing so I wanted to introduce myself to the newcomers. Welcome! I'm Emily Hafler LMT, the sole proprietor of Your Wellness Matters Massage Therapy. My office is currently located in Hair Studio 309 at 309 Walnut St, Elmira NY. I graduated with a Certificate in Therapeutic Massage and Hydrotherapy from the Finger Lakes School of Massage in December of 2018. After that, I went on to complete my Massage Cupping Certification through ACE as well as ...taking additional training in clinical massage techniques in 2019. Your Wellness Matters was founded in September of 2019 and I am pursing my goal of becoming one of the leading massage practitioners in the Southern Tier. I have dealt with my own health struggles over the years, so I truly understand living with pain and the toll it can take on a persons physical, emotional, and mental well being. I try to carry that compassion into every single one of my sessions and offer each client the exquisite care they deserve. It's an honor to be a part of the journey as people decide to take charge of their health and I firmly believe that everyone can benefit from making massage a part of their wellness plan. When you book a session with me, I pull from my training in many different massage modalities to craft a session suited to your needs and goals. You are my number one priority! I've been a resident of the Horseheads/Elmira area my whole life. In my free time I am a bibliophile, musician, and artist. I enjoy an active lifestyle and taking advantage of the many hiking/biking trails, and kayaking opportunities our beautiful Finger Lakes Region offers. Portrait taken by Samantha N Moon Photography

I really miss giving handshakes, receiving hugs, or a friendly hand on the shoulder or back. If you’re feeling this way too, you’re not alone. While touch starvation is not a new phenomena, Covid has dramatically increased the instances. Therapeutic Massage is one excellent way to help stimulate the bodies touch receptors and the nervous system. Other things you can do are:... Cuddle a pet Use a weighted blanket Try dry brushing ASMR therapy Regular exercise See more
