Pet Passages of the Finger Lakes is now offering euthanasia services. We are working with a local veterinarian to provide this service in our Rainbow Bridge Room. Families can find comfort in knowing they can be with their pet as they embark on their final journey. Our Rainbow Bridge room is a beautiful, peaceful, private place to say goodbye to your furry family member. While we are unable to provide this service on an emergency basis, we do our best to accommodate pets in need. For more information please contact Pet Passages by calling 607-236-4122.

To those missing loved ones tonight Maybe the loss is recent and your grief runs deep, or maybe it’s been a very long time and what’s left is a lingering sense... of melancholy. But either way, there’s an empty space in your heart that can’t quite be filled no matter how long it’s been or how many other wonderful people are in your life to love and who are loving you back. As you remember someone special tonight, may you feel their eternal presence with you and in your heart forever. www.beginwithyes.com Photo by Jane Fairbrother https://m.facebook.com//Todays-Catch-2214666046608/posts/

NOMV stands for Not One More Vet, Inc. You may have noticed vet professionals sharing this acronym and symbol in their profiles. This past week, the veterinary ...community has lost more professionals to suicide. The Veterinary profession is one of the highest in rates of suicide. Male veterinarians are 1.6 x more likely to die by suicide and female vets are 2.4 times the risk. The risk in support staff is even higher. (https://www.avma.org//special-report-auburn-cdc-study-exam) Please keep this in mind when interacting with your veterinary staff and in your own practices. Please be kind . If you are struggling, contact the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1 (800) 273-8255. Check out Not One More Vet: https://www.nomv.org/
