If you know me, you know my passion is rescue. So I am sharing some of the rescues available at Catskill Animal Rescue. I am on Board of CARE and work daily with the staff to help these amazing animals find their forever home. Please share them for me.

Happy Holidays CARE is preparing for a Spring Penny Social! Let's make this the biggest and best one yet. Yes we will have a bigger location and something f...or everyone. We ask our supporters to help us gather items to sell. Please set up a collection box in your in home for us. Declutter your home and help the animals at the same time. If you have any household items that are new or slightly used, if see a clearance item, or have that bottle of wine or liquor you will never drink, please donate. All of these items can help CARE raise money for the animals. Nice large empty baskets are appreciated also. Over the next few months fill up your donation box and put it aside for us. We would greatly appreciate it. We will announce when it's time to bring your donations to us.

Oh my goodness do we have the most wonderful brother/sister duo available at CARE! Wiggles and Wobbles were found as strays, their eyes crusted shut and in desp...erate need of TLC. We have treated their eyes, given them food, water and plenty of love and attention. They are thriving! Wobbles has a condition called cerebullar hypoplasia which means her cerebellum, which controls her motor skills, balance, and coordination, didn’t develop properly. All this means is she is wobbly. She displays head tremors and often sways and tips when she walks. She should have a normal life span and she gets where she wants to go, doing most things her brother does, just in her own way and in her own time. She loves being with her brother and since they have always been together we would like them to be adopted together. They are friendly, playful and downright adorable! These two beauties are available for adoption at CARE. If you are interested go to our website, www.catskillanimalrescue.net They aren't even on the website ye...t so please just put Caesar or Cheryl in the section asking what type of animal you are interested in. We do prefer homeowners for our pits, but renters will be reviewed as well, if you have lived there long term and have a letter from the landlord. Caesar is an all white young adult male pit approx 60 lbs who knows sit and down. He can fetch and catch treats in the air. Seems good with other dogs, and older kids. He came in as a stray so not a lot of history on him. He is currently recovering from what looks to be a flea allergy, so his skin is healing up and he will be good as new. He will make a great companion. Cheryl is a 1 1/2 yr old female black and white pit. She seem ok with other dogs and older kids.
