It’s been a long while since we’ve posted anything on our Facebook page. Pops passing has been tough. We’re open and busy but it’s weird. Weird everyday to not have him here. When you work in a relatively small space with someone your entire life, and then they’re gone, the transition is difficult. But we’re doing our best to keep everything he created going on a way that wouldn’t piss him off too much. Yeah, he’d hate that A1 Sauce on the shelf. I think he tossed a customer ...out once when they asked if the Rib Eye, they were buying, would be better with A1 on it. Yeah, he wasn’t a fan of anything except salt and pepper on meat. But people ask for it, so we put it in. If you want to put peanut butter on your steak, knock yourself out. If it makes you happy, I’m all for it. But this post is really just saying hello and we’re here. We have a pretty full stock of all your favorites and we’re still cranking out delicious products from our kitchen in the back. Mom is here every day, keeping an eye on us and reminding us to eat and keep the coffee hot. We hope to see you all soon as we head towards our 100 Year Anniversary next April. We’ll throw a shindig to make Pops proud! See more

We are open, everybody. It’s been a difficult time. The entire world has changed three times over and every industry has gone thru tremendous upheavals. We are getting meat in and trying our best to produce all the items we make by hand, but it’s been a challenge. The days of walk in customers seems like years ago. Now people order a few days ahead and either run in to grab it or pull up on the sidewalk and we hand them their goods thru the window. A year ago, these would be ...the more infrequent ways to get our meats in your belly. Now it’s the norm. The new normal. All of us at Empire are hoping you and your families are staying safe and healthy. If there’s anything we can do to help stock your fridge or freezer, please don’t hesitate to give us a call or text.
