This workout will use supersets and intervals to build strength and cardiovascular endurance. Focuses on foundational exercises to help you improve your pushups, develop a stronger core, improve lower body stability, and improve your overall strength. Equipment Optional! No equipment is needed to participate in this class. There will be the option to use a pair of dumbbells (or kettlebells), resistance bands if you have them available. If you have no equipment, it’s no problem! Beginner Friendly! Have you ever wanted to learn the Turkish Get-up? Or maybe your already familiar with the skill but want to learn more? This workshop is for you! I will be teaching the Turkish get-up on Friday February 5th at 5pm EST via Zoom. Ideally you will have access to a light to medium weight kettlebell that you’re comfortable pressing overhead but here’s the good news...no kettlebell? No problem! ... If you want to learn but don’t have access to a kettlebell you can still participate! All you will need is a yoga block, light book, or sneaker. One of the things I missed most this year was seeing everyone flap their wings and do turkey things in my Annual Turkey Tabata class!!! Hopefully we will all be together next year healthier and stronger than ever! (If you find some time for exercise today, do a few turkey flappers for me!! GOBBLE GOBBLE!)
