Located in Hendersonville, TN, this two year old Positive Displacement Pump station was becoming a headache with multiple service calls. Between the pumps jamming, burning up and having unreliable level detection, it was time for an upgrade. An E/One Upgrade, that is. Solution? A Duplex Retrofit. W-Series pumps with Duplex Protect Plus Alarm panel with Sentry Advisor means better reliability and detection. Well done, Wascon, Incorporated

The Hawaiian Islands have every conceivable wastewater infrastructure challenge: high water tables inviting contamination from septic tanks, the threat of inflow & infiltration from heavy rains, undulating terrains, preservation of archaeological sites, fragile tropical vegetation & ocean fronts. ALL-TERRAIN SEWER from E/One was able to provide a cost-effective & environmentally sensible solution: https://modernpumpingtoday.com//0720MPT_DIGITAL_reduced.pdf (Page 14-16).
It’s raining cats & dogs out there, but you know what they say- April showers, bring overflowing wastewater systems. Well- that might not exactly be the saying, but it doesn’t make it any less true. Watch & see for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqo_kPaObFk
With parts of Massachusetts and Connecticut at risk of experiencing an ice storm this week, we wanted to share our power outage tips for your grinder pump: DUR...ING A POWER OUTAGE KEEP WATER USE TO A MINIMUM The pump requires electricity to operate, so when the electricity is out, the pump will not run. 1. Keep toilet flushing to an absolute minimum. 2. If you need to use water from the sink, use a container to capture it and prevent water from going down the drain. 3. Keep bathing to a minimum. 4. If you need to run water in a tub, put a stopper in it to prevent water from doing down the drain until power comes back on. If the grinder pump tank is full, an alarm will sound. Once the tank pumps down, the alarm should turn off. If the alarm conditions persist for longer than 15 min., the pump may need service. The alarm may be silenced by pushing the silence button (grey rubber tab) located on the bottom of the alarm panel. Call your local service provider (if that is us call 508-765-0051). The control panel may have the service providers name on it or Environment One Service Link phone number. If you call the service link they will provide you with information on your local provider. www.frmahony.com #FRMahony #Water #Wastewater #GrinderPumps #TrustedAdvisor #poweroutage

PsstValentine’s Day is Sunday. Did you know it takes an astonishing 450 gallons (1700 liters) of water to make a typical 3.5-ounce (100-gram) chocolate bar? That’s about ten bathtubs of water for one bar of chocolate. https://blog.nationalgeographic.org//love-water-for-choco/ #chocolate #valentinesday
The Riss Lake subdivision in Parkville, MO, consists of 850 homes. Different grinder pumps had been used in the subdivision since it was built in the late 1980s, leading to a mix of equipment and maintenance needs that eventually became problematic. Grab your morning cup of coffee & watch how this problem was solved: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r430YyKguoc
E/One sells and services its grinder pumps through a network of distributors. To locate your local E/One grinder pump sales distributor or service center, select the country or area where your project is located: https://eone.com/sewer-sy/sales-service/distributor-locator
