Epic New York Runs

On Sunday, February 21 New York runners will gather for the Harlem Heroes Run in honor of Black History Month. The Run will unite runners from throughout New Yo...rk to celebrate heroes of Black History, especially heroes linked to Harlem by monuments, homes, theaters and churches. Heroes include: Martin Luther King Frederick Douglass Harriet Tubman Clara Hale Malcolm X Adam Clayton Powell Paul Robeson Marcus Garvey Philip Payton A. Philip Randolph Heroes in sports, music, literature and theater. The Harlem Heroes Run will also celebrate historic locations, churches, schools, theaters and the breathtaking parks and architecture of Harlem. For safety, participation has been limited, masks will be required and runners will run in several small groups. Harlem Heroes Run: Date: February 21, 2021 Start Time: 8:30 A.M. Start Point: 110th Street & Central Park West, Frederick Douglass Circle Distances: 5 to 15 miles Running pace group: 9:00 minutes/mile and 11:30 minutes/mile Space is limited, so please DM me to join!
