Through an expansive series of multidisciplinary artworks, including drawings, monotypes, cyanotypes, and photographs, Ciarrocchi carefully excavates and pieces together disappearing histories from the remains of architecture and fragmented memories, in the process recreating a complete visual story. MELISSA STAIGER: IN THE BELLY OF THE EMPRESS Equity Gallery is pleased to present the latest show on our exclusive online WING Project Space, Melissa Staiger's "In the Belly of the Empress!" The exhibition showcases the titular ongoing series of lush, colorful mixed media works on paper. Started by Staiger in the winter of 2021, the artworks are in part inspired and influenced by sculptor Niki de Saint Phalle and her Tarot Garden in Italy.
