Qualifications Candidates shall possess a BS in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology or a 2-year degree in HVAC with additional commensurate experience. 10+ years experience in mechanical engineering and project management, primarily in HVAC in a consulting environment. Technical knowledge of plumbing and fire protection system is a plus. Professional licensure in New York or other state PE license with the ability to obtain a license in New York. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC system design including load calculations, hydronic and steam systems, industrial and laboratory ventilation, building automation and control systems, and specifications. Proficient with planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating detailed phases of engineering projects. Able to manage and take responsibility for technical work content produced by co-workers. Familiarity with NYS Building Codes and relevant NFPA sections. Familiarity with commercial, institutional, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing facilities for private, governmental, municipal, industrial, institutional, and university clients. Erdman Anthony is proud to be a major subconsultant on the Potters Mills Gap project that is currently in the third and final phase of construction. We provided design services for the westernmost interchange, which connects to Route 144 and the local roadway network, as well as field survey and right-of-way plan development for the entire corridor. #transportationengineering

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) recently selected Erdman Anthony to perform an energy study of its headquarters in Albany, New York.
