The exceptional Janna Mattia has added a sketch to EVERY ONE of our signed bookplates for Natalie Portman's Fables. They will be winging their way to us and then getting inserted in ordered books as soon as they arrive. Remember, you can't access the live event we're doing with Book Revue on the 27th or get a chance at one of these beauties without buying a copy of the book from our webstore.... Only two days left until the event!

While one is supposed to go into the Sabbath feeling that all their work is done, it's even better to actually have all your tasks done. Therefore, I am happy to say that the new expansion to the browsing area is ready for business as soon as we open Sunday. Just knowing that is going to help me have a truly peaceful and restful and #GoodShabbos

Daily Update 186, Wednesday October 21st: Like a Chicken with its Head Cut Off.

It's New Comic Book Day! Its an interesting mix of stuff on the shelf and I'm going to be talking about how and why we have such a tight budget (monetarily and spatially) for single issues on today's livestream in just a few minutes!

Another whopper of a week! To hear me talk about each book, check the livestream from earlier today on Facebook. TWO ANNOUNCEMENTS:... 1. There are now copies of our special edition of @alexdecampi & @EricaFails's Dracula Mofo on the sales floor. NEXT WEEK I will be adding them back to the webstore. But for now, for a bit, they are only available in-store. 2. We have not shipped out our copies of @natalieportman's Fables (out today!) because we just couldn't without asking @jannamattia to sign them as well. When she saw how much space there was between the two signatures, she also said she would SKETCH IN SOME! So, if you want a chance of getting one of these now 1000% cooler bookplates as well as access to the LIVE VIRTUAL EVENT with the author we are hosting with @bookrevueli on Oct. 27th you need to order a copy from our webstore before that date!
