New York State University Police at SUNY ESF

UPD wants to remind the community that we have partnered with the Sharps Needles and Drugs Disposal (SNADD) Program of Onondaga County and have a drop box for old medication. We encourage community members to properly dispose of old medications at the drop-off location in the basement of Bray Hall. This location is accessible 24/7 for community members to dispose of old medications. UPD’s Medical Drug Box cannot take liquids or needles.

Traffic Alert: Forestry Dr is now OPEN. As a result, Oak Leaf Dr has resumed its strictly ONEWAY traffic pattern. Please familiarize yourself with these changes. See map for details!

Traffic Alert: The renovation of Marshall Hall has begun and several commonly used sidewalks have been fenced-off as a result. Pedestrians should utilize the sidewalks north of Baker Lab, east of Gateway and on either side of Illick Hall until further notice. Neither Campus Drive East nor West have sidewalks. For your safety, please refrain walking on either road.

National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week is April 12-18, 2020. Your ESF dispatchers serve as a vital link between your community and fire, medical, and law enforcement agencies 24/7. They are here right along side your University Police Officers to assist in serving the ESF community to make your work and education safer. Throughout this week we will be recognizing our hardworking Dispatchers.
