Congratulations to the Indoor Percussion Ensemble on their Bronze Medal in the 2021 New York State Percussion Circuit Championships. It was a challenging season for sure but their hard work was evident all season long. We're Kicking off our April fundraiser with Witty Wicks candles! Just in time for some great spring scents and great gifts for Mother’s Day! The fundraiser closes on 4/23 and all orders will be in and distributed before Mother’s Day. This is a student fundraiser and in order to track what each student sells, we will need to do this one the old-fashioned way, using paper order forms. You can download a form at esmmarchingband.org (see the news section) Any band students that... are interested in participating in this fundraiser should pick up a fundraising packet from Mr. Acenowr in school, or download an order form at esmmarchingband.org to start selling. Each candle is $18 and the student will earn $6 for their travel account for each candle sold. Any questions, please contact Jaime Sullivan at 315-395-2615. There's no doubt about it, this was not the kind of season we had hoped for this year for Marching Band. Nonetheless, the kids and the staff made the absolute best of a tough situation. Today's performance, in my opinion, was much better than we could have hoped for. The members of the marching band should be extremely proud of what they accomplished in such a short window of time. For our Seniors, thank you for leading the way this year and keeping your head up. I'm sure... it was not the way you envisioned things going for your last year in the program. All 11 of you will be missed and we wish nothing but the best for you in your future endeavors. The staff, as always, are the best in the business (of course I'm a little biased! LOL). Thanks so much for sticking with the kids and helping them do what they love during a tough season. On behalf of the booster club, thanks to everyone that supports the ESM Marching Band.
