Esperance Elks #2507

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Past State Vice President David VanDerwerken from Cobleskill Lodge. Dave and his wife Pat moved to North Carolina and he transferred to Hickory Elks Lodge there. His humor and quick comebacks will be missed. Dave was a friend of Esperance Elks Lodge and the State Capital District. We always looked forward to seeing him at the state conventions in his Pink Tuxedo. Dave was one of a kind and will be missed. Our hearts, love and prayers go out to his lovely wife Patricia and their family. God Bless you Dave may you rest in peace. TO OUR ABSENT MEMBER.

Thank you to everyone who purchased a meal and/or bought a raffle ticket for the Charity Ball Event held last night at the Albany Elks Lodge for the NY State Capital District Elks. Over $3500.00 was raised and the winner of the raffle is Jen Winslow. Thank you to all. Elks do great things in our communities.
