EsplanadeFriends and Civitas are spearheading the new Coalition for The East Harlem Waterfront . Along with over 20 prominent NYC civic/waterfront/parks organizations, we will keep NYC on task and make sure that the $284 million for the East Harlem Esplanade is written into the final budget. And, more importantly, that this money gets spent in a timely way so that this area gets the safe and state-of-the art waterfront it deserves.
