Attention Democratic Candidates in Chesterfield and North Elba Anyone interested in running for local office on the Democratic line in the Towns of Chesterfield and North Elba should be aware that those towns use the caucus method to determine who will represent their party on the ballot. Caucuses will be held between March 2 and July 22. To learn more about caucus plans in your town, contact your town’s Democratic Chair.

Tuesday, June 23 is New York's Primary Election. If you have not voted by absentee ballot or early voted and you are a Chesterfield Republican or an Essex County Democrat, this is your final opportunity to cast your ballot. In Chesterfield, a Town Council Primary is open for Republican voters. In all Essex County towns, a Presidential Primary is open for all Democratic voters.... Polls will be open from 6 am to 9 pm. Absentee ballots can also be mailed on Tuesday, but MUST HAVE A JUNE 23 POSTMARK to be counted.
