#throwbacktuesday Can you spot Ms. Eva? In the 90’s I was the youngest member of this choral group, Tagintinig. I was immersed with the musical Classics that have stood the test of time, and have shaped me into the musician and teacher today. ... Admittedly, I wasn’t crazy about joining the group as my middle school peers were out doing much more interesting things. But with encouragement from my parents, I stuck with it and I am so grateful today. Parents: Don’t give up. When your child doesn’t feel like playing his/her instrument, be diligent, be encouraging, be firm. Teach ‘em to stick to their guns. In the end, we always thank you for it... This year has stretched and moved us in ways that we would have never imagined. To end this year on a "high note" - I am GRATEFUL for you - for your inspiration, for lifting my spirits to push through this pandemic of 2020. Happy New Years and Cheers to a brighter 2021.
