If so, there have been recent temporary increases to SNAP benefits, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.The New Yor...k State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance announced that New Yorkers enrolled in SNAP will receive a 15-percent increase to their monthly food benefits for January through June 2021. Unlike previous assistance plans, the maximum benefits a household can recieve have been temporarily increased as well so that all households may benefit from this change.
