Sunday, May 3 was International Bereaved Mother's Day. It is a day that I never heard about until I became a bereaved mother, over 5 years ago. After years of trying to get pregnant, we lost our first daughter. As painful as losing a child was, I knew I had to have something to get me through the pain. And so we named her Hope--because I knew that's what I needed to hold onto. And through the continued difficult journey to build our family, we knew we would always have Hope. To the mothers who can't hold their babies with them, I'm thinking about you.

I have really enjoyed connecting with other moms and recording these episodes about being a mom, managing kids with two working parents during quarantine.
