While Covid was out of our control, recent matters aren't and I think the flow of events occurring in our lives right now is no coincidence. We're creatures slow to change and we're getting kicked in the butt right now to do better, no more excuses! We needed a pandemic to help us slow the f*** down and come back with the energy to fight what truly matters, to see the bigger picture... and I mean it in every aspect of our lives. We live i...n a world where Epstein gets away with years of confounded behavior yet George Floyd gets 9min to his death for a counterfeit twenty. I'm making a drastic comparison but that's the level of extremes we're dealing with, what's to say about the un-reported grey areas? We have much to be angry/ frustrated/ insert negative feeling here, and with everyone else around us in unison, it's easy to get swept away with our tide of emotions Myself included. Hence, I find myself having to take a run or a walk around the block to re-center and sift my rational / irrational thoughts apart and last week when I looked down, I realized I was standing in a field of Chamomile! If you've never smelled fresh Chamomile buds in bloom before, it's such a calming, anxiety reducing treat aromatherapy at its best. So, all I'm saying is, we should keep fighting the good fight but if you ever need to re-center, the buds are in the ball park (yes, ball park) of Prospect park growing abundant as "weeds". I'm sharing in good faith that you do NOT over-harvest PLEASE, each plucked bud gives you a good dose of anti-anxiety so it's much better to just sit with them and enjoy their company. If you've been to the website lately, you'll notice that there's been a progressive amount of updates the past few weeks. It's been a bit of a challenge fixing it up myself without the help of a developer but it's been really rewarding so far! I've since taken out the botanicals as they don't do much from a functionality standpoint, but pretty nonetheless!
