As we struggle through how to enjoy this Memorial Day 2020, I want to express my gratitude to those that this day is for. We have the honor of being the final resting place for thousands of Veterans and that makes me proud. We hope you have a Happy Memorial Day however you choose to celebrate.

I posted for an Admin opening a couple of weeks ago and got BOMBARDED with applications. Then as life goes, I got tied up with things and I want to apologize for not responding. So....I am asking for a do-over, and I will include more detail to narrow things down. ADMIN - We are currently looking to fill a position as follows: 30+ hours weekly, the office is open Monday - Friday 9-3 $12.00-13.00 to start depending on experience.... We are a not for profit Cemetery Corporation. We are run like a small family business, but we are regulated by the State of NY. We run 2 Cemeteries in the area, the main office is in Colonie and we have another location in Rotterdam. It is a 1-2-person office, mostly low stress but can get busy at times. Because we are so small, dependability is a must, but we can offer a flexibility most company’s can't, that makes it an excellent opportunity for someone with caregiver responsibilities or needing a little leeway in hours. Requirements: Some computer experience, Word, Excel a must. Must be willing to pitch in and do what needs to be done. Attention to accuracy and detail an absolute must. We are too small for a "that's not my job" attitude. Everything from dusting and vacuuming to answering phones, meeting with families, paperwork, filing. I will teach you everything you need to know if you have the self-starter, want to learn attitude. This can be a great opportunity for the right person willing to put in the entry level grunt work.
