As far as we know, this is the first and most systematic (at least in its intent) approach for the development of anti-aging therapies. Lots of questions. Which biomarkers will be relevant for measuring short-term positive effects of various treatments? Which therapies will be tested first? When? But this is a welcomed start that should benefit all in anti-aging drug developers community.

This is a very promising direction. More and more data shows that genetic instability or DNA damage might be the root cause of aging. SIRT1 is one of the guards that protects DNA. Everon scientists seek novel ways to stabilize DNA pharmacologically.

Scientifically a very strong investment team. Smart money indeed. Let’s all hope they make the right choices to make us forever young.

There seems to be an upper limit to human longevity - somewhere around 120 years (122 is the record currently). Learning how to treat major age-related diseases over last century increased average but did nothing to maximum longevity. Only when we figure out the root cause of disease-independant aging - an aging timer - and learn how to slow this timer down will we increase maximum longevity. Scientists at Everon believe they are on path to accomplishing just that.
