We’d like to send out a huge Thank You to Aaron and the folks at Home Depot for this amazing donation of products! They will also go to great use in caring for the animals in our care Thank you, Home Depot.
These two are still available for adoption
Courtesy post for a very handsome and lonely dude. Meet Kitty Kitty’s elderly owner passed away. Local family cannot take him in - the owners son has to move to Florida for chemo treatments, and the daughter has a spouse with extreme allergies. A family member is going to feed him daily and care for him, but it’s not the constant companionship he is used to and deserves. ... Kitty is 12 years old - fully vetted and up to date on shots. Kitty loves to be petted, brushed, and will sit on your lap for hours. He also loves when you talk to him and will happily answer you back! Apply at Everydogsdream.org
This face! This is the look I got from Momma Sophia when I told her she is responsible for these babies for another 3/4 weeks. She’s not exactly thrilled, but is a very good Momma.

Beautiful words from our amazing foster (and adoption center cleaner extraordinaire!), Sarah: I comforted you when you came to me as sickly babies, I syringe fed you, taught you to trust and love, and now I have to leave you. The part of fostering that truly breaks my heart. A piece of my heart stays with you both forever Ophelia & Octavia. Welcome up the Adoption center, Ophelia & Octavia. ... Thank you, Sarah & Lani, for all that you do Fostering is a very rewarding experience, but boy is it hard at times. Bittersweet.

Sorry to post this but on my way to work this morning I took this poor soul out of the road on east main street in Endicott. Located by the Kwikfill gas station just before the McDonalds. He is a neutered cat. I have him at Dickin Memorial Animal Hospital. Sorry to post this but hopefully he had an owner.
Well Wayne #8 was a boy and he’s just so darn offended that we thought he was a girl! Thanks to Dr Wilcox and Dr B, Liza (and her daughter!), Emily, Alyssa, Dan, Victoria, and Heather for an awesome day! Thanks to this crew we were able to have 6 females and 8 males altered! The boys have been transported back to their colonies and the girls are all safely resting indoors for a few days. None of this would be possible without the generosity of the Community Foundation who awarded us with a much needed grant for TNR earlier this year! Did you know?! If you have a feral cat colony and remove them rather than utilizing a TNR program and model, chances are something else or another feral cat colony will move into their place? For more information regarding TNR practices and why it works, contact us!
Rio Grande! Speaking of Grande, check out those extra toes! Rio Grande is a sweet though somewhat shy medium hair ginger boy who is around 6 months old. He’s a looker!
On to our last one of the day. She’s just waiting her turn patiently. Wayne #8 is about to go under. Stay tuned for our final update of the day!
Meet the C Gals! Carly and Corby are about three months old, both have tested negative and have had first shots. Carly (on the left) is a brown tiger. A petite girl, she is adventurous and loving. Corby (on the right) is a grey tiger with white stockings and white trim. She is a substantial girl. It takes a while for her to warm up, but the wait is worth it! They love to play together and take naps curled up against each other. It would be wonderful if they could be a...dopted together as Corby takes comfort from her sister’s more out going personality. Applications available at: Everydogsdream.org

Isn’t she a beauty. Her name is River. She is the mama to two litters of kittens that were rescued. Barb Lynch Novitsky saw the intial litter on the side of a road hanging out by guard rails on River road. She and Sarah Brink retrieved the kittens but could not get mama. When attempts were made to trap her but the caretakers said she had another litter so we played the waiting game. Weeks later the caretakers trapped the mama and kittens and everyone is now safe in our rescue. Barb is fostering the kittens and mama is tucked away so she can dry up and get spayed. She has beautiful kittens but NO MORE. Pictures attached are her first litter in the crates and with a ton of fleas and the most recent litter are in the Halloween pics.
Sad reality. So many cats and kittens without homes. They are sick and We just can’t save them all. This is not how I like to start my day. Rest in peace little one.
