In Schenectady County, 58% of all new COVID cases since 3/13 were diagnosed in December. In other words, December saw more new COVID cases than all the other months combined. Daily testing plateaued at around 1,200 tests per day. The 7-day moving average of positive tests continues to climb and is currently at 11.8 percent. The virulent London variant has yet to hit our county.
