Well it’s goodbye for 2020. We wrapped up another great season with putting a few more in the cooler and a bottle of champagne.

EYE-FISH had a fun day with Todd and Steve from down state NY yesterday. We put them on a limit of walleye and Todd on a 8.5lb fish. This was Todd’s first Erie adventure and it’s sure to be a memorable one. Really enjoy introducing customers to our fishery.

The EYE-FiSH team fished in the innovative Outdoors Walleye Challenge this weekend. Fishing was tough on the big fish Friday with waves of 4-6 out on the Canadian boarder. Our biggest fish for Friday was 4.02 but the weather improved for Saturday and we found some fish by late morning and were able to put a 6 fish box together at 23.67lbs which landed us in 15th place out of the 50 boats. The first place weight was 29.66. We think we could of moved up in the standings if we could of found this class of fish a little earlier in the day, but that’s fishing. Need to give a special thanks to my wife jerianne who is a big part of our team. We couldn’t pursue this crazy passion without all that you do while we chase fish up and down the lake (thanks babe ).

We had a great time with a couple of navy vets yesterday at the WNY Heroes annual fishing day. We had no trouble with a 3 man limit and even put a few back. There was a Walleye chop that gave the sea legs a work out by late morning, but the Walleye loved it. We started on the west side of Brockton Shoals in 55ft and trolled back twoards Dunkirk. Water temp was 67 degrees down at 50 ft. Fish were taken on riggers with EYE-FISH harness and 3 & 5 color lead with sticks. We had Great time and thanks again for your service.
