From American Farmland Trust | New York: Final state budget negotiations are happening now! This year, we have 3 important priorities to build farm to school and help schools serve more #NYFood4NYKids:... 1. Maintain $10 million for NY Farm to School Purchasing Incentive to increase the amount of New York grown food served to New York kids. 2. Maintain $1.5 million for the Farm to School Grants Program to provide necessary support. 3. Include language to ensure all schools who qualified for the incentive during the pandemic emergency receive the reimbursement they earned from the state.
