Cleaning out your attic, basement, garage or shed after a long winter? Please donate your used tools and hardware to the Tool Thrift Shop in Fairport Village Landing. We offer pickup service for donations too large for you to transport. Tools are cleaned, readied for sale and sold with all proceeds benefiting Fairport Baptist Homes - Senior Options for Independence (SOFI) program. SOFI is a non-profit organization committed to assisting seniors in Perinton/Fairport to remai...n safely independent in their homes. Want to volunteer at a great place? Come join our team working with a group of individuals who assist in all aspects of the business from the tools/hardware, cashiers and many other rewarding jobs. The Tool Thrift Shop has proudly donated more than $500,000 to SOFI to benefit our community neighbors, with the support of your donations and volunteering. Tomorrow is Small Business Saturday! Shopping small with us always makes a big impact since all of the proceeds are used to support the seniors in our community! Shopping and donating at the same time-it doesn't get any better! Hours are Saturdays 9-4pm, Tuesdays/Thursdays 3-7pm and Fridays 11-6pm.

Our ribbon cutting at the Tool Thrift Shop was featured in the Messenger Post. Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce members joined The Tool Thrift Shop volunte...ers during a recent ceremony celebrating the re-opening of its new store in expanded space at Fairport Village Landing. The first all-volunteer shop collects donated tools and hardware to be resold. Proceeds support the Senior Options for Independence program, which helps seniors in Perinton live independently in their own homes for as long as possible. Since opening in 2010, the Tool Thrift Shop has donated over $400,000 to the SOFI program. See more
