Our Fall Mission. Each year beginning in Mid-October we have a food drive for local food pantries. This year we will do the same as other years. Collecting non-perishable food in the church from October 18 through November 22. Our local food pantries have been very busy these days, many to provide for during the pandemic so we hope to lend a big hand!!! If you would please contribute to this mission it certainly will make a difference in the lives of many families. There will be boxes placed in the narthex for collections. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the church office.

Good morning Pre-K/Kindergarten Sunday school kids!!! I hope you had a great Halloween last night with lots of tricks and treats. Today's, November 1st, lesson is about David and Goliath. All parents of this class will receive the lesson by email. Anyone can use this lesson with their littles and please feel free to use it in a way that works good for you and your children. PRAY - We gather together for stories, we gather together to pray, we gather together to si...ng and learn, this is our special day! SING - 1. Jesus loves me 2. What's a big problem you've had? 2. Tell about how you faced that problem ACTIVITY - 1. Next time you are outside, have each family member find a small rock. Talk about how little the rock was that brought down the big giant and some of the ways that God can us a little boy or girl to do great things. 2. Crumple pieces of paper into pretend stones. Choose a high spot on the wall, and try to hit it with the paper stones. Talk about how God was with David and how you know God is with you. Turkey soup day will take on a new look this year----as so many other things have due to the covid virus! Soup will be available by PRE-ORDER ONLY. Each church family can get one quart of soup *again only if you pre-order. If you would like more it will be $5.00 per quart. Last day to order soup will be November 14th. Pickup will be Sunday November 22 from 11:15 a.m. till Noon. For those not attending church in the sanctuary we will bring soup to your car at the elevator... entrance in order for you to distance. Extra soup can be paid for at pickup. There will be a sign up poster in church or you can email me at [email protected]. Just a reminder that trunk-or-treat is tomorrow, Sunday, October 25th in the church parking lot following Worship service. We have guidelines for everyone to follow to make this a safe event. Guidelines are in the October newsletter as well as a previous Facebook post listed this week. Please note there will be no Sunday school lesson for Pre-K/Kindergarten or the Elementary classes tomorrow. There is a $20 Tim Hortons gift card to best decorated trunk!!! We can't wait to see you!!!
