What the mainstream media willfully fail to recognize is the root cause of these mass shootings: family court. Yes, the proliferation of guns gives these killers the means to murder. Yes, all of these individuals have severe mental health problems. But what is the root cause of their disturbance? In the vast majority of these mass shooters, there is one common denominator. They are men who have grown up without access to a father. In a study done last year, 90% of mass shooti...ngs in the US this century -- including Sandy Hook's Adam Lanza -- were perpetrated by men without a consistent relationship with their dad. And in many of those case, it was the family court which separated those boys from their fathers. It is family court which is largely responsible now for millions of children growing up without access to one parent. America could be spared future such tragedies if shared and equal parenting became the norm. The FCLU is investigating a particularly disturbing case where a judge, Matthew Cooper, has removed physical and legal custody from a mother for a) declining to wear a mask outside; b) discussing the issue with a news outlet. Thanks to a source within the court, we have obtained this order issued by Judge Cooper, showing how he is wielding his power over a child who has now not seen her mom for ten days. We encourage all FCLU members to continue to publish this kind of legal abuse, and to name and shame those judges who need to be removed from the bench.
