Got a bell on your bike? Riding without one could mean a traffic ticket! New York State law requires a bell, horn or other audible device on a bicycle. And i...f you ride after dark, you need a set of front and rear lights. The YMCA of Kingston & Ulster County and Bike-Friendly Kingston, NY will be distributing bells and lights at People's Place on Tuesday, March 23rd between 10:00am and 1:00pm. Bike helmets will also be available. People’s Place is located at 17 St. James Street in Kingston. No advance registration required. The event is free, but donations are welcome!
