The autumn trees teach us how lovely it is to release and let things go. And now it is our turn. We have clung to the hope and faith that we could hold on until we could reopen, COVID free. As we near the end of 2020, we are reminded of how far we stretched to reach one another, to find safety and peace in each other while we stayed physically distant. The time apart has taken an irreversible toll on our ability to reopen Family Tree Yoga & Wellness, and so now we - like the ...trees in autumn - must recognize it is our time to release and let go. It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Family Tree Yoga and Wellness will close its doors and online teachings permanently November 30, 2020. We are truly humbled by those who entered our doors and chose to stay a while, and for your dedication to your practice. That dedication spanned bouts of cancer, new babies and the loss of loved ones. Through impossible divorces and love at first sight right at the front desk. Through weddings, graduations, layoffs, new jobs and retirements. Through every illness, injury and heartache. We celebrated the highs and cried through the hardships, together as one family. It is the loss of this once-in-a-lifetime community that is hardest to bear. How can we begin to thank you for your part in making FTY a place of belonging? There are no words. We are beyond grateful for our incredible teachers and staff, the healers that fulfilled our dream to bring alternative wellness practices to our community, all the learning, the wonderful yoga, for the laughs and long conversations, for never wanting to leave. But most especially for all of you. We created the space, and you were our beating heart. And now it is time. We are letting it go, allowing it to fall away, knowing that our hearts are meant to open to something new. May your journey of yoga continue long after we chant our final OM together.
