Are you curious about what happens when a tooth is missing? It may not seem like a big deal, but missing even just one tooth can put your other teeth in jeopardy. Teeth are meant to work together to function. Some teeth are good at grinding up food. Other are good at biting and tearing into things like sandwiches and pizza. ... When teeth are missing, they put more stress on the teeth around them. Your other teeth need to work harder! But also, your other teeth miss that extra support. Without a tooth holding the others in place, the other teeth can start to move and drift, and even start growing down into the empty space. When that happens, your other teeth are more likely to get cavities and gum disease, putting them at risk, too! The good news is that it’s never been easier or more affordable to replace a missing tooth. I’ll be talking about tooth replacement options all this week, so be sure to check out our posts and follow along in stories! . . . #qns #itsinqueens #maspeth #middlevillage #astoria #lic #woodside #sunnyside #ridgewood #foresthills #longislandcity #queensny #queensnyc #healthyyou #healthandwellness #healthandwellnessjourney #healthybodyandmind #healthybodyhealthymind #healthyteeth #healthysmile #smile #happylifestyle #nycdentist #nycdentistry #womenindentistry #healthiswealth #healthtips #nycsmallbusiness #faqs #faq

Now, we’re so grateful to see our patients in a spacious, state of the art practice that combines comfort with modern and clean touches. ... PS - If you’re curious about the behind the scenes of our remodel, scroll back to March/April 2020 in our feed or check out our office highlights!

Do you ever feel like you can’t eat ice cream, have ice water, or even have a breath of cold air? If your teeth jump at the thought of anything cold, swipe to see our tips! Sensitive teeth happen to everyone. My favorite tip is placing a pea-sized amount of Sendosyne over the sensitive area and heading to bed.
