Built in the year 1930, at 90 years old the property at 74 Bayard served originally as an Industrial space. Located in Williamsburg directly across from the developing McCarren Park, the pioneering owners, the Listl family carried the commercial space throughout the years. Preserving the building was extremely important to them, so when it came time to make the decision on 74 Bayard’s next chapter, they looked within their close network of friends in hopes of honoring its or...igins. Luckily two of FM’s original founders Marjanne Motamedi & Dragan Ristovski were in that network and quickly notified the other managing partners. They were able to walk into the building and immediately feel it’s history and the energy that flowed throughout the space. They saw the bigger picture and through that vision and the design direction of Matthew Maddy found Fandi Mata’s Home.
